Nintendo Direct 6.21.2023: What We Know and What We Hope to See
Nintendo fans, mark your calendars! Nintendo will be hosting a Nintendo Direct livestream on June 21 at 10:00 a.m. ET, featuring roughly 40 minutes of information focused mainly on Nintendo Switch titles launching this year, including new details on Splatoon 31. Here are some of the things we know and some of the things we hope to see in this highly anticipated presentation.
- Xenoblade Chronicles 3: We are big fans of the Xenoblade Chronicles series, and we can’t wait to see more of the third game that was announced in February. We want to know more about the new world, the new characters, and the new combat system.
- Mario Party Superstars: We love a good party game, and Mario Party Superstars looks like a blast. It features five classic boards from the Nintendo 64 era and over 100 minigames from across the series. It also supports online play with friends or random players. We want to see more of the boards, the minigames, and the online features.
- Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp: We are thrilled that Nintendo is bringing back this beloved turn-based strategy series with a modern makeover. It includes both Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising with updated graphics and gameplay. We want to see more of the campaign mode, the versus mode, and the map editor.
- Metroid Prime Remastered: We are huge Metroid fans, and we were overjoyed when Nintendo surprised us with Metroid Prime Remastered in February. It is a remaster of the first Metroid Prime game for Nintendo Switch with enhanced graphics and controls. We want to see more of how it looks and plays on Nintendo Switch.
