Unlocking Agent Smith Early

Agent Smith, the iconic character from The Matrix, has made his way into MultiVersus! While he isn't available to everyone just yet, you can start working towards unlocking him by gaining points on his Event Track. Here's how:

Defeat Rift Bosses:

To progress Agent Smith's Event Track, defeat Rift Bosses—the final enemies at the end of particular Rifts—for the first time. Each difficulty level of a Rift counts as fighting a boss for the first time. If you beat one Rift all the way to the end, including the boss, on all five difficulties, that will count as five points on Agent Smith’s track.

Unlock Rift Difficulties:

You'll need to unlock some rift difficulties by beating easier ones and upgrading your gems (single-player gameplay modifiers) to a certain level. Since rifts require switching gems to match specific colors, leveling up can take time. Each color must be leveled up separately to unlock difficulties for that same color Rift.

Grind for 20 Points:

Agent Smith is a real grind at 20 points. You'll likely need to fully complete four different rifts on all difficulties. Keep an eye out for new Rift Bosses as they unlock.

Early Release

While WB hasn't announced a specific date for Agent Smith's official release, defeating as many Rift Bosses as they unlock will earn you Agent Smith in MultiVersus two weeks early, according to his Event description. It's a challenge, but it can be done for free and ahead of the competition! 🕶️

Remember, the event runs from May 27th until July 30th, so act quickly to claim Agent Smith!
